Written by Martin Wickremesinghe, who nook dubbed as the father of the Sinhala novel, I had heard about the novel for ages but was not inspired to read it.
Even though I highly recommend the Sinhalese version for native speakers this translation by Professor Ashley Halpe does no injustice!!
